The Origins of the Future

Since its beginning, in the first
      years of the 1990s, the European Environmental Tribunal had several
      Meetings. Initially they happened in Brussels, where the main
      office of the institution was located. After the transference
      of the EET to London, in the year 2000, the city of Trancoso
      - a beautiful medieval village in Northern Portugal - passed
      to receive the annual Meetings.

      
They are really historical Meetings,
      where thinkers, philosophers, professionals from the most diverse
      areas, artists and scientists, coming from the most varied countries,
      are together for a profound reflection on the human being, on
      the paths traced by Humanity, about now, the past and the future
      - taking the environment fundamentally as a human and cultural
      question.

      
It is about a Meeting of people,
      individuals, from the most different disciplines and cultures,
      with free entrance and participation of everyone.

      The Meeting The Origins of the Future, of the European Environmental Tribunal, is promoted
      by the Town Council of the City of Trancoso, in Portugal, and
      by the Foundation
      for the Arts, Sciences and Technology - Observatory.
